HOUSTON, TX – A major wreck shut down the southbound lanes on the Gulf Freeway this morning, according to the Houston Police Department. The accident was reported at the freeway’s intersection with Bay Area Boulevard around 2:08 am. The department has not reported additional information about the wreck, including if anyone was hurt.
