Woman killed in possible hit-and-run crash on Mt Houston Rd

HOUSTON, TX – Authorities are investigating the death of a woman following a possible hit-and-run crash that happened on Mt. Houston Road this morning, according to KHOU.

The accident occurred in the 300 block of W Mt. Houston Rd, near Highway 249 and the North Freeway at about 5:30 a.m., when a woman walking by the roadway may have been struck by a passing vehicle.

The woman was later found in a ditch and pronounced dead.

Authorities continue to investigate the accident at this time.
