Woman killed in possible DWI rollover crash in Humble after family event

HUMBLE, TX – A woman was killed in an early-morning crash in Humble that occurred as the victim was headed home after a family gathering.
According to FOX 26 Houston, the accident occurred this morning at 5:45 a.m. in the 6000 block of Glen Lee Drive, when the driver of a light-colored vehicle lost control of the car.
He was unable to remain in a single lane, and then crashed into a ditch. The vehicle rolled over, coming to rest on its left side.
The victim, a female passenger, died at the scene.
The driver was taken to the hospital to test for possible injuries.
Authorities have ordered a DWI test on the driver to be completed while he is in the hospital.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
