HOUSTON, TX – A woman involved in a crash on the Gulf Freeway in June was found dead on Friday, according to the Houston Police Department.
A white Ford F-150 truck was stopped at a red light at 8300 Gulf Freeway at 3:05 p.m. on June 18 and began to make a right turn on the northbound service road. The victim, a 53-year-old woman, was riding her bicycle and was hit by the truck.
The woman refused medical assistance from emergency personnel. Authorities believe she failed to yield the right-of-way to the truck. The victim was found dead at 8300 Winkler Road by her son.
