Woman injured in speed-related crash on Sam Houston Tollway

HOUSTON, TX – One person was hurt in a speed-related crash on the Sam Houston Tollway in northwest Houston on Wednesday morning, according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).
The collision occurred at 9:40 a.m. on N Sam Houston Parkway W, near Antoine Drive, when the 40-year-old driver of a red 2013 GMC failed to control the speed of his vehicle. The front-left end of his car then crashed not the back-right end of a silver 2014 Nissan.
The driver of the Nissan, a 35-year-old woman, sustained possible injuries in the crash.
The other driver was not hurt.
