UPDATE: Female suspect killed in police chase on the Katy Freeway identified

HOUSTON, TX – The female suspect killed in a police chase on the Katy Freeway on Monday, December 21 has been identified by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the HCSO, victim Ashley Molina was the passenger in a vehicle that was fleeing from authorities. The vehicle drove off the road near the 1700 block of the Katy Freeway, causing all inside of the car, including Molina, to run away from the scene. Molina ran onto the Katy Freeway where she was struck by a passing vehicle. She was declared dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
