UPDATE: Channelview car-bus crash victims identified

HOUSTON, TX – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victims in the Channelview car-bus crash that claimed two lives on Thursday.
According to the office, Librado Vasquez was traveling near 1000 Sheldon Road when he suddenly lost control of his vehicle and veered into the road’s opposite lane. He then crashed into a Harris County Transit bus driven by Monica Esters, who was uninjured. A teenager in the back seat suffered critical injuries.
Vasquez and a passenger in the Pontiac, Roxanne Pinon, were declared dead at the scene. An investigation into the crash remains open.
