Traffic alert: Crash near George Bush Airport causes traffic delays

HOUSTON, TX – A two-vehicle collision near George Bush Intercontinental Airport led to traffic delays of about 45 minutes earlier today, according to tweets by the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office.

The accident occurred in the 18900 block of Aldine Westfield Road, near E Airtex Drive and just west of the airport at about 11:45 a.m. when two vehicles collided.
Authorities warned travelers in the area to expect delays and possible road closures.
The accident was cleared at about 12:30 p.m.
There is no word at this time on the cause of the accident or if anyone was hurt.
