Pedestrian fatally struck on Kuykendahl

HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a passing vehicle on Kuykendahl on the night of Friday, July 31, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office reports.

The victim, Juan Pablo Medina Mendoza, was hit by a passing vehicle near 16900 Kuykendahl Road. He was killed upon impact. Authorities have not determined whether Mendoza was standing in the road or attempting to cross the street.

The unidentified vehicle fled the scene. The HCSO is working to find the suspect.
