Passenger killed, 2 people injured after METRO bus crash in N Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A passenger was killed in an accident involving a METRO bus in north Houston last night that also sent two other people to the hospital, according to KTRK.

The crash happened in the 3500 block of Bennington Street near the Eastex Freeway service road at around 7 p.m., when a METRO bus and a car collided.

One of the occupants of the car was pronounced dead after the collision.

Both drivers were hospitalized in undisclosed condition.

No further information on the cause of the crash or the identities of the victims was immediately available.
