One person killed in possible DUI crash in Highlands late Friday night

HIGHLANDS, TX – One person was killed in a crash that authorities believe may have been caused by an impaired driver in the Highlands area late last night, according to KTRK.
The crash occurred in eastern Harris County at W Houston Street and N Magnolia at about 11 p.m., after a driver, who may have been under the influence at the time, reportedly ran a stop sign and crashed into a ditch.
One person, identified only as an adult man, was killed in the crash.
It is unclear at this point if the victim was the driver or a passenger.
