Man killed in hit-and-run on Bissonnet Street

HOUSTON, TX – A man was killed in a hit-and-run on Bissonnet Street Sunday evening, according to a press release from the Houston Police Department.

The unidentified victim was attempting to cross the street at 9200 Bissonnet Street when he was hit by a passing vehicle. The driver did not remain at the scene. The victim was rushed to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was declared deceased. He was 56 years old.

Authorities do not believe he was using a crosswalk.
