Man dies after crashing motorcycle into sign on East Fwy

HOUSTON, TX – A motorcyclist died early this morning in east Houston in an accident on the East Freeway, according to the Houston Chronicle.
The accident happened in the Greens Bayou neighborhood near Exit 778A at about 2:40 a.m., when a male motorcyclist went off the road and between the on-ramp and the feeder road.
He collided with a traffic sign, then was ejected from the vehicle.
The victim, whose identity was not revealed, died at the scene.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
