Major crash on I-10 shuts down traffic at Beltway 8

KATY, TX – A major accident has shut down multiple lanes of traffic on I-10 near its intersection with the Texas 8 Beltway, the Texas Department of Transportation reports via their official Twitter account.

It is unclear what caused the accident, how many cars were involved, or whether anyone was injured. TxDOT informed the public to expect major delays as responders work to clear the accident.
