Injuries reported in 6-vehicle crash on FM 1960 Rd

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – At least one person was injured during a multi-vehicle collision on FM 1960 Road this evening, according to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office.
#NOW: Constables are working a six major vehicle major crash in the 7000 block of FM 1960 Rd.
EMS and fire are on scene to treat all the victims.
West bound lanes of FM 1960 are currently blocked off by emergency crews.

The crash happened in the 7000 block of FM 1960 Rd at about 5:30 p.m., when six vehicles collided.
Photos from the scene show a grey Hyundai sedan and a black SUV among the involved vehicles.
Emergency crews were treating multiple victims at the scene.
Authorities blocked the westbound lanes of FM 1960 as they investigated the crash. Drivers were asked to avoid the area and to expect heavy traffic delays.
While the official cause of the crash was not immediately released, photos from the scene showed that the roadway was wet and rainy.
