Heavy truck accident closes 3 lanes on I-45

HOUSTON, TX – Houston TranStar reports that a two-vehicle accident involving a heavy truck has shut down three lanes of traffic northbound on I-45 at its intersection with Scott Street.

The accident was verified at 2:40 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12. It is unclear at this time whether there were any serious injuries. Traffic remained delayed at the time of publishing, and drivers are advised to avoid the area if possible.
