HOUSTON, TX – A minor accident was reported on the Southwest Freeway this afternoon by the team at the Houston Police Department. The accident is listed at 8603 Southwest Freeway, near Gessner Road, and was reported around 4 p.m. It is not known what led to the crash.

The accident took place at 610 West Cavalcade Street at Emir Street around 1:33 p.m. No deaths were reported, but officers have not issued additional information about the crash.

HOUSTON, TX – Two frontage lanes shut down after a collision on Beltway 8 tonight, Houston TranStar reports. Two cars crashed at the Hammerly Boulevard, closing down the two nearby frontage road lanes. Emergency responders cleared the scene by 10:00 p.m.

HOUSTON, TX – A driver fled the scene of an accident on Chapman Street tonight, the Houston Police Department reports. The crash occurred at 4798 Chapman Street around 8:21 p.m. It is not known why the vehicle fled the scene and the HPD has not provided information about the suspect’s vehicle.
