At least one person dead after late-night car crash on Scott St

HOUSTON, TX – A late-night accident on Scott Street near the University of Houston claimed the life of at least one person on Friday, according to the Houston Police Department.

The fatal accident occurred at about 11:20 p.m. in the 3400 block of Scott Street, near the UH Track and Field Complex and Reeves Street.
Authorities confirmed that at least one person died in the accident. The number and identity of the victims were not immediately released.
