Patrol car hit by suspect’s vehicle during police chase in Jersey Village

JERSEY VILLAGE, TX – A patrol car was hit by a suspect’s vehicle during a police chase in Jersey Village on the morning of Friday, August 7, KHOU 11 reports.
The suspect led authorities on a chase down Highway 290 and FM 529 after refusing to submit to a traffic stop. The suspect then became trapped in 11700 Wolf Run and attempted to make a U-turn back into the neighborhood. Their vehicle then struck a patrol car.
The only reported injury was a woman with a head laceration. The individuals involved were arrested after the accident.
