Man crashes truck on the Gulf Freeway after being shot

HOUSTON, TX – A man crashed a truck on the Gulf Freeway after being shot on the night of Tuesday, August 4, KHOU 11 reports.
The man reportedly crashed into a highway sign near the 12800 block of the Gulf Freeway near Fuqua Street around 11:30 p.m. Police say the victim was found with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital immediately after the accident for surgery.
The investigation into the incident is continuing.
