Traffic alert: Road in Richmond closed for downed power line

RICHMOND, TX (FORT BEND COUNTY) – A downed power line in Richmond has caused a road closure in the area, according to a tweet by the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident happened near the Bradford Park neighborhood on Harlem Road, between Grand Vista Springs Boulevard and Morton Road.
FBCSO reported at 10:17 a.m. that a power wire owned by AT&T was down, and that sheriff’s deputies were diverting traffic away from the area.
Authorities did not reveal when the roadway might be opened again.
No injuries were immediately reported.
