Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital following early-morning Willowbrook accident

HOUSTON, TX – A motorcyclist was hurt in a major collision in northwest Houston early this morning, according to a tweet by the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable.

The accident happened at about 3 a.m. in the 13500 block of Hargrave Road, located near the Willowbrook neighborhood.
A photo from the scene shows a motorcycle crashed off the right shoulder of the roadway, near a traffic sign.
The motorcyclist was airlifted to the hospital with presumably serious injuries.
Authorities advised travelers to avoid the area, as traffic delays and road closures were likely.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
