Motorcyclist ejected, killed in downtown crash after trying to pass car

HOUSTON, TX – A motorcyclist died early this morning after being ejected from their bike in a single-vehicle crash in the downtown area, according to the Houston Chronicle.
The accident happened near 7 Travis Street, located close to the downtown location of the University of Houston when a motorcyclist attempted to pass another vehicle.
The victim, who has yet to be publicly identified, lost control of the motorcycle and then collided with a curb. They were ejected from the bike, and died at the scene despite witnesses’ attempts to help.
No other injuries were reported in the collision.
