3 officers injured in collision after alleged carjacking in N Houston

HOUSTON, TX – Three police officers were injured while pursuing suspects of an alleged carjacking in north Houston early this morning, according to KTRK.
The crash occurred near E Crosstimbers Street and Irvington Boulevard at about 1 a.m., when three Houston Police Officers tried to perform a traffic stop on a vehicle that had been reported as stolen. After a few minutes, the suspects then collided with an uninvolved driver and also with the three officers.
The police officers were taken to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
The innocent driver was not hurt in the collision.
Three people were taken into police custody in connection with the incident, and authorities are searching for a possible fourth person.
Their investigation continues at this time.
