1 dead, 2 trapped following major crash in SW Houston

HOUSTON, TX – One person died and two others were pinned inside their vehicle following a suspected DUI crash in Southwest Houston on Sunday.
According to a report by KTRK, the incident occurred around 3 a.m. when a woman ran through the right light on the Southwest Freeway feeder road at Fountain View Drive.
The woman’s vehicle slammed into another as it was traveling through the intersection.
The driver of the second vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. Their passenger was hospitalized in critical condition.
The woman responsible for the crash was arrested on intoxication manslaughter charges.
