Young bicyclist struck and killed in crash on Westheimer

HOUSTON, TX – A young bicyclist was struck and killed in a crash on Westheimer Road last night, ABC 13 reports.
A 25-year-old man on a BMX-style bicycle was attempting to cross near 6200 Westheimer Road just before midnight. The man was then hit by a passing Nissan Maxima that stopped at the scene and attempted to render aid.
Unfortunately, the victim, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, died at the scene.
