Woman seriously hurt after colliding with Katy Freeway wall

HOUSTON, TX – A woman was seriously hurt after colliding with a wall on the Katy Freeway early this morning, according to KHOU.
The accident happened in the 10000 block of the Katy Freeway, near Bunker Hill Road, at about 2:40 a.m., when the driver of a white sedan lost control of the vehicle. She then collided with the freeway wall.
The driver was taken to the hospital with serious wounds.
Her passenger was not reported as injured.
The identity of the victim was not immediately released.
Authorities continue to investigate the collision at this time.
