Woman killed in suspected drunk driving collision

HIGHLANDS, TX – A woman was killed in a suspected drunk driving collision on the night of Thursday, January 7, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
Last night, a fatal collision occurred at 1700 S. Main in the Highlands area. An adult male, suspected of driving intoxicated, struck an adult female driver (32) head-on. Also in her truck, was her 2-yr-old. The toddler sustained broken bones, but is stable. https://t.co/RYS1Fxnaej

The woman was driving near 1700 South Main Street when she was struck head-on by another driver. Unfortunately, it does not appear that the 32-year-old victim survived the accident. Her 2-year-old was in the car and sustained broken bones, but is reported to be in stable condition.
The other driver, an adult male, is suspected of being drunk at the time of the crash. He also did not survive the crash.
