Woman hospitalized with critical wounds following NW Houston house fire

HOUSTON, TX – A woman was seriously hurt when a house caught fire in northwest Houston early this morning, according to KHOU.

The incident occurred in the 5300 block of Theall Road at about 2 a.m.

Emergency crews found a woman unconscious within the burning home, and they pulled her from the flames and began to give her CPR, restoring her pulse.

She was taken to the hospital with critical, severe injuries, including burns to the head and torso.

Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the fire, which remains under investigation.
