HOUSTON, TX – Three people are facing charges after a woman was hit and killed by a suspected drunk driver only minutes after another alleged intoxicated driving crash on the North Freeway early this morning.

According to KHOU, the collision occurred on the North Freeway (I-45), near the exit for Aldine Bender Road, at about 4 a.m., when a white Ford Mustang and another vehicle collided.

A woman who was a passenger in the Mustang got out of the vehicle after the crash. She was then hit by a third driver, and later pronounced dead.

All three drivers admitted to being under the influence at the time of the crash, and all three are likely to face DWI charges.

Authorities continue to investigate the accident, and they have not yet decided who is at fault in the victim’s death.
