Woman dies from injuries sustained in hit-and-run on North Main Street

HOUSTON, TX – A woman died from injuries sustained in a hit-and-run crash on North Main Street on November 9, the Houston Police Department reports.

The 49-year-old woman was in a wheelchair near 8600 North Main Street when she was struck by a passing SUV. The SUV did not step and emergency responders rushed the woman to the hospital in critical condition.

She was pronounced dead on November 22 by doctors at Memorial Hermann Hospital.
