Woman dies from injuries sustained in early February crash on Westheimer Road

HOUSTON, TX – A woman died from injuries sustained in a crash on Westheimer Road on February 2, according to the Houston Police Department.
The victim was attempting to cross near 6200 Westheimer Road, not in a crosswalk, when she was hit by an oncoming vehicle. Emergency responders transported the victim to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries on February 7. She was just 20-years-old.
The driver of the car involved was determined not to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the crash. They were transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
