Woman dies from injuries from early July hit-and-run

HOUSTON, TX – A woman injured in an early July hit-and-run collision has died from her injuries, according to a press release from the Houston Police Department.
The woman was a pedestrian attempting to cross 3700 Liberty Road when she was struck and killed by two vehicles. Authorities believe the vehicles involved were a Chevrolet Camaro and Chevrolet Suburban. They did not stop at the scene and attempt to help the woman. The crash occurred on July 9.
The woman was rushed to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries on July 15.
