Woman dies from injuries sustained in collision on Airport Boulevard

HOUSTON, TX – An elderly woman tragically died from injuries sustained from a collision on Airport Boulevard on September 2, according to the Houston Police Department.

The 86-year-old victim was driving a Ford Escape when she hit a driver near 3600 Airport Boulevard. The other driver had reportedly run a red light. The woman was rushed to the hospital after the incident. She sadly succumbed to her injuries on September 13.

The driver and passenger in the other car, a 2007 blue Chevrolet Cobalt, were taken to the hospital in an unknown condition.
