Woman dead following collision on the Eastex Freeway

HOUSTON, TX – An unidentified woman was tragically killed in a major collision on the Eastex Freeway on Tuesday, according to ABC 13.
The woman was reportedly driving on the freeway when she hit a wet spot on the road that caused her vehicle to veer into nearby lanes of traffic. A tractor-trailer attempted to swerve out of the way to avoid the woman’s vehicle but was not able to do so. The tractor-trailer struck the woman’s car and she was killed upon impact.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured. The crash is under investigation.
