Woman critically injured after crashing into trees in Conroe

CONROE, TX – A woman was severely injured in a single-vehicle crash on FM 1314 Road in Conroe this evening, according to the Montgomery County Police Reporter.

The crash occurred at about 7:30 p.m. on FM 1314 Rd, near Old Humble Pipeline, when the female driver of a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe went off the side of the road. Her vehicle then crashed into a wooded area, causing her to be trapped within the wreckage.

Authorities managed to cut her out of the vehicle, then transported her to the hospital for the treatment of critical injuries.

Her three children, ages 3 to 10, were not hurt in the crash.

The accident remains under investigation.
