Woman crashes into guardrail while on cellphone on the Crosby Freeway

HOUSTON, TX – A woman slammed into a guardrail as she was using her cellphone while driving on the Crosby Freeway, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office reports.
District 3 had a 1 car major accident on the Crosby freeway at Sheldon road. Driver was looking at her phone when she should have been watching the road. Tore up the car and the guardrail. The crash occurred at the intersection of Crosby Freeway and Sheldon Road at 8:59 p.m. on July 16. The woman was not injured, but her car and the guardrail were significantly damaged.
