Willis – Woman Died in Pickup Truck Collision on East Stewart

The Texas Department of Public Safety is conducting an investigation about a two vehicle accident on Farm to Market Road caused the death of a woman, a local news source reported.

At around 5:00 a.m., police responded to Farm to Market Road 1097 following reports of a crash involving a Ford pickup truck and Business Park Drive. Initial investigation shows that a pickup truck was heading east on FM 1097 when it went out of control and crashed into a Dodge Ram 3500. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found a victim trapped inside the wreckage. The occupant, who was later identified as 56-year-old Anna Raglin, sustained significant injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.

No one else was injured.

Willis police have yet to determine the reason that caused the pickup truck to drift into the path of the Dodge.
