Wichita Falls – Several Injured Following Crash on Henry S Grace Fwy

The Texas Department Public Safety is investigating a major collision on Henry S Grace Freeway near Kickapoo Airport, Friday afternoon.
Just after 1:00 p.m., local officers were dispatched to Kickapoo Airport in response to a call reporting a vehicle accident. According to the report, a vehicle was seen traveling along the highway when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, it went out of control and drifted off the roadway. The car then rolled over and landed in a ditch. As a result, a child inside the car sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Six more occupants, including children aged one to 7, suffered from undisclosed injuries and were immediately taken to the hospital for treatment. Their condition was not disclosed.
Police have yet to determine the reason that caused the car to go out of control.
