Wichita Falls – Head-on Crash on Kell W Boulevard Leaves 1 Dead

Last Friday night, a two-vehicle accident resulted in injuries and death of a Burkburnett resident on Kell West Boulevard, according to a local news source.
At around 11:00 p.m, police officials responded to the scene to assist in a car accident between a sedan and another undescribed vehicle. An initial investigation indicates that the sedan was heading east when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, it crossed the median and collided with a westbound car near Taft Boulevard. The force of the impact killed the driver of the westbound vehicle while the sedan’s driver sustained injuries that were considered non-life threatening. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The deceased victim has not yet been identified since.
The wrong way driver, identified as Justine Gallegos, of Lawton, was charged with intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle.
An investigation is underway.
