Weatherford- State Highway 171 car crash kills one

A 20-year-old woman died following a fatal head-on crash involving multiple vehicles, the Texas Department of Public Safety said.
According to initial reports, the accident took place at about 6:10 p.m. Sunday. A 2005 Ford F-150 pickup truck was traveling north on State Highway 171 and make a stop to give way for the vehicles heading south. As it was turning into a private driveway, the pickup truck was then rear-ended by another truck hauling a trailer. The truck veered into the traffic where it crashed into a 2012 Kia Soul.
The force of impact instantly killed the driver of the Kia Soul. Authorities later identified the victim as Bayli Paige Carney, 20, of Granbury. While the 59-year-old driver of Ford F-150 pickup truck, identified as Weatherford resident Glenda Louise Chochran, suffered from injuries and was transported to Weatherford Medical City for treatment.
The driver of the truck did not sustain any injury. He was then identified as Drew Wade Harwick, 41, of Cedar Hill.
No charges have been filed as the investigation is still determining the cause of the accident. Further details are yet to be released.
