Weatherford – One Person Trapped Following a Wreck on East Dry Creek Rd

The Weatherford Police Department is conducting an investigation about a vehicle accident on East Dry Creek Road, Monday afternoon.
At around 12:30 p.m., Central firefighters and Lifecare emergency crews were dispatched to the intersection of East Dry Creek and Zion Hill Road to assist in a collision. When they arrived, they found a vehicle with major damages on its side. An occupant in the said car was trapped inside the wreckage and had to be extricated from the vehicle. He was rushed to the nearest hospital where he received proper medical treatment. The extent of his injuries remains unknown at this time.
Police are still determining the circumstances surrounding the accident.
