Weatherford – Justin Mills Seriously Injured Following FM 51 Collision

The Weatherford local authorities have identified the victim was fatally injured in a vehicle collision on Farm to Market 51 Road near Veal Station Road, according to a local news source.
The victim was identified as Justin Taylor Mills. He was a 21-year-old driver from Azle.
A preliminary investigation shows that Mills was driving a 1996 Ford Ranger pickup along the southbound lanes of FM 51 when he failed to negotiate a curve and drifted to the side of the road. After trying to overcorrect, his vehicle then traveled across the southbound and northbound lanes where his vehicle was struck by a tractor-trailer on its side. According to local responders, the truck was a 2013 Peterbilt truck tractor that was towing a flatbed trailer.
Emergency crews airlifted the pickup driver to John Peter Smith Hospital for treatment. He was later identified as Justin Mills. Luckily, the driver of Peterbilt, 41, of Atoka, Oklahoma, was not injured.
