Walker County – Two Injured Following Traffic Crash on FM 980

A traffic crash involving a passenger car and school bus on Farm to Market Road 980 in Walker County, early Friday morning.

At around 6:00 a.m., police responded to FM 980 near Ashworth Road to assist in a car accident. Based on the initial investigation, a passenger car was traveling along the roadway when, for yet undetermined reasons, it collided with a school bus. The impact of the crash injured two occupants from the vehicles involved. The extent of their injuries remains unclear at this time. No identifications were released, as well.

Meanwhile, local investigators were requested at the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. Anyone who has information about the case is encouraged to get in contact with the authorities.
