Waco – Pedestrian Crash on Bellmead Drive Kills 1

An elderly sustained fatal injuries after getting struck by a passing vehicle on Bellmead Drive, Saturday, last April 27, according to a local news source.
Just before 9:00 p.m. last Saturday, Waco local troopers responded to a collision that happened at the 4700 block of Bellmead Drive. According to initial reports, a pedestrian was crossing the street when he was hit by a vehicle traveling along Bellmead. The impact of the collision left the victim with serious injuries. He was
The victim was only identified as a 62-year-old pedestrian. His identification will be released after his immediate family has been notified.
Authorities did not release information about the condition of the driver. He was only identified as a 19-year-old driver.
Based on a preliminary investigation, the street where the accident took place was poorly lit. Investigators are still confirming if it played a role in the collision.
