Waco – Man Killed in I-35 Crash Identified

Waco law enforcement officials have identified the man who died in a fatal collision on Interstate 35 near Loop 340, Thursday.
The fatality was identified as 34-year-old Jesus Rodriguez.
Initial reports show the Jesus Rodriguez was driving an 18-wheeler truck along I-35 when it crashed into another 18-wheeler parked at the side of the road. The impact of the collision killed Rodriguez upon impact. Meanwhile, two occupants in the second 18-wheeler were sent to the hospital where they received proper medical treatment. Their injuries were considered to be non-life-threatening. Responding authorities withheld their identification til their immediate family has been notified.
No one else was injured.
Area investigators were requested at the scene to determine the reason that caused the 18-wheeler drifted off the roadway.
