Waco – Bicyclist Injured on Waco Drive

One person sustained injuries as a result of a vehicle collision on Waco Drive, Friday.

According to initial reports, the incident took place on Waco Drive near North 5th Street in Waco. A bicycle was traveling along the roadway when, for yet unknown reasons, collided with a passenger vehicle. How the crash happened remains unclear at this time but it was confirmed that the bicyclist, who was only identified as a 65-year-old man, suffered serious injuries from the impact of the collision. He was taken to a hospital with an unknown condition.

Authorities did not provide information about the driver of the vehicle.

The Waco Police Department arrived at the scene to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
