Waco – Auto Collision on South New Road

At least one person was sent to the hospital after getting involved in a car accident on South New Road, Tuesday.

According to the report released by Waco police, a vehicle was seen traveling along the roadway near 2000 South New Rd when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, it went out of control and left the roadway. The vehicle then overturned and came to rest in a drainage ditch. The driver of the said vehicle suffered from injuries and was rushed to a hospital for treatment. His condition was not immediately disclosed.

No one else was injured.

The Waco Police Department has yet to release more information about the incident. An investigation is underway.
