Vidor – ATV Collision on Lost Lake Lane Sent Two to Hospital

At least two people sustained various injuries after getting involved a vehicle crash on Lost Lake Lane, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).
At around 12:45 a.m., local troopers were dispatched to Lost Lake Lane in Orange County in response to a call reporting an accident. An initial investigation indicates that a Polaris all-terrain vehicle went out of control after entering a curve at an unsafe speed. The impact of the crash ejected both occupants of the vehicle in the process. The passenger was pinned underneath as the vehicle came to rest.
The driver, identified only as a 21-year-old Vidor woman, sustained minor injuries. She refused treatment. Her passenger, also 21 from Vidor, was seriously hurt and taken to St. Elizabeth hospital where she was listed in an unknown condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
