Victoria – Two-Car Accident on Main Street Injured Woman

A woman was sent to a hospital after getting involved in a vehicle collision on North Main Street, last Thursday afternoon, May 9.
According to initial reports, the wreck occurred at 4300 North Main Street. A vehicle was traveling along the northbound lanes of the said street when it collided with another vehicle. Police said that the first car ran a red light, prompting a collision.
The impact of the collision caused the second vehicle to crashed into a parked car on the side of the road. The driver of said car suffered from major injuries and brain injury. She was transported to DeTar Hospital Navarro before being airlifted to Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio.
The driver of the first vehicle was identified as Blake Coles, 17, of Victoria. He was cited for failure to stop for a red light.
